Today at 8:29pm a middle school child stole a package from our doorstep. I had met this child last week when they said hello to my 6th grader who attends Hamilton. I was able to identify the child thanks to our Ring Doorbell. I believe the kid lives in Wallingford and that maybe one of our neighbors may be able to help.
The child has blond hair and appears, gender identification may be different then appearance, to be a young Caucasian girl with blond hair. She was wearing a gray/white hoody with “Forever Young” on the front, a pair of black leggings, and a pink backpack with some words or design. She was riding a black electric scooter.
I would much rather this incident be marked up to bad judgement and lessons learned. And my wife’s package returned rather than filling out a police report and directing the police to the school. I get that we all make mistakes.
