Two more weeks of Wallingford Farmers Market, and this week’s post is dedicated to the husband/wife team Clare Breidenich and Carson Lemmen, volunteers for FamilyWorks.

Every Wednesday, around 7 pm as the market stalls get ready to close, Clare and Carson are there with bins going from stand to stand, collecting unsold produce, bread and other items from the vendors, loading them up and carrying them over to FamilyWorks food bank, for distribution to those who struggle to keep them family from going hungry.
