Last week was the first week of the 2022 Wallingford Farmers Market which now runs every Wednesday 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm through September 28, 2022. It’s one of my favorite ways to celebrate summer (or at least warmer weather!) – walking to the park, sampling delicious food and drink, watching the kids play and greeting neighbors old and new. It’s hard to imagine as I shake off the chill of last week’s evening little league games, that Porchfest 2021 saw temps into the upper 90s! Let’s hope that on Saturday, June 25th, we hit a weather sweet spot. Over a dozen bands will play for the ‘hood from 12:00 – 8:00 pm. Visions of Wallingford is a neighborhood community project launching this week. It’s part learning, part dialogue with the intention of collaborating on a vision for the future of the Wallingford’s built environment. Come see Lincoln High School’s first musical, the Addams Family!

They’re creepy and their kooky, mysterious and spooky- the Addams Family is being performed on May 5th, 6th, and 7th at Ballard High School! This is Lincoln’s first musical since its reopening, and the cast, pit orchestra, and crew are thrilled to be performing after COVID delays. Shows are at 7 pm as well as 2 pm on Saturday. 

We would love for the Wallingford community to come and support the new beginning of our theatre department.
