Really– that is the plan. Unless another horrendous weather event shakes things up, it is planned to power wash and install vinyl wrapped artworks on three utility boxes on N. 45^th during the week of December 9^th. To celebrate, a Community Gathering is scheduled inside the Wallingford Center, where Trophy Cupcakes once stood, on Saturday, December 14^th from 10 a.m. to noon with family friendly activities and light refreshments. On Sunday, September 15^th    you are invited to join the fun at Murphy’s Irish Pub, as we step back in time to experience a slice of history. Historic Wallingford will host an immersive historical experience with food and drink typically found at a speakeasy during prohibition in the 1920s. During prohibition, a speakeasy was an illicit hidden gathering place, where illegal alcohol was served.  In 2024, alcohol is no longer illegal—but we will try to recreate a fun social gathering with a nod to the Roaring Twenties.  Period dress will be encouraged, and you can jive to live music …
