Ten and a half years ago we closed the Bad Woman shop in Manzanita on the Oregon Coast. We were excited to move back to Seattle to be closer to a new granddaughter.

The Rainbow Butterfly Mystery

Reports have been trickling in about rainbow butterflies littering Wallingford (and other neighborhoods around Seattle). There’s no clear answer about the purpose of these fliers, but the slightly ominous inside of the fliers directs you to an even more ominous website that states “YOU ARE NOT SAFE” and has today’s date.

Dog Days of Wallingford at Verity Credit Union
Wallyhood reader Kira wrote to let the neighborhood know about a fun event happening at Verity Credit Union (Located at 4545 Stone Way N) this weekend.
For the 4th year in a row, Verity Credit Union is having its Dog Days of Wallingford event on Saturday, August 5, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. This event was inspired by members routinely bringing their dogs into the branch (which we enjoy) so we wanted to do something special for our four-legged friends.
