More than a few years ago, the auto repair place on 45^th in Wallingford re-opened under the banner of Green Car Auto Repair.  An experienced auto repair man opened up with a troika of three younger guys doing the heavy lifting.

Over time the young Turks took over the operation.  It was a communal effort, but they never had one person as the ‘public face” of the group.  Things fell apart and the operation was turned over to one of the troika.  He gave it a try under Northwest Best Auto Repair.  Eventually he passed it off to another …

There have been a few twists and turns lately at local Food and Drink establishments on 45^th. Here is an Editor’s Choice article with some personal observations.  Let’s run them down:

I was surprised last week to see the small sign: Closed on Monday and Tuesdays in September due to staffing. Subject to change.  Is there a secret general labor strike going on?  Anyway, I look forward to their re-opening back everyday.

In the ‘old’ Starbucks location is a sign for a new tea shop: Young Tea.  Can’t wait.
