Organized by Celebrate Wallingford, the parade has been urgently seeking help which we posted about in November and February. Opportunities are still available to lend a hand, and if you plan to participate as a marcher or in other events surrounding the parade, now is the time to register: Parade Registration is OPEN! The Fremont Solstice Parade which, more than anything else around here, marks the start of summer, takes place this Saturday. The parade is just one of the events comprising the Fremont Fair, produced as usual by the Fremont Arts Council, which will keep you entertained all weekend.
