With summer just around the corner, you know that the opening of the Wallingford Farmers Market cannot be far off, either. The first day of operations is this coming Wednesday, May 16. As has been the case for the past several years, the market will be held at Meridian Park at 50^th St. and Meridian Ave. Hours will be 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Wednesday through September 26.

Most of us would probably agree that our city could stand a little sprucing up here and there (or, maybe, just about everywhere).
