And if she were in Wallingford this weekend, here are some of the Easter events she’d get to choose from. Most are on Saturday rather than Sunday, though. Check ’em out:
Sat. 3rd – Annual Easter events at Wallingford Center. Saturday…Cook the Books!
No, we’re not suggesting some sort of accounting scheme.
The 5th annual Edible Book Festival is coming to Wallingford Saturday, April 10th. We’re writing about it now cuz you still have time to enter your own book-themed work of art. And if you’d just like to show up and nosh, that’s ok too.
What? People bring a piece of edible art related to books: a pun on a title, an interpretation of a scene or character, or just something having to do with books. But it has to be edible. Where? Good Shepherd Center, N. 45th Street & Sunnyside Ave…Celebrating Earth Hour
Earth Hour is a call to action on climage change, supported by the World Wildlife Fund. The movement started in Sydney in 2007 and has grown exponentially ever since. Walk to…The Sick Bed Tour of Wallingford
…or, “what you can get here when you can’t get out of your house.”

Happy Anniversary, Oasis!
Oasis Art Gallery is celebrating their fifth year in Wallingford with an anniversary party & artists’ exhibition on Sunday, January 24th from 3-6pm. Everyone is invited!

And, due to the crisis in Haiti, 25% of photography sales will be donated to the American Red Cross: Haiti Relief Fund.
Here’s a sneak peek of the exhibit:
Contemporary abstract nature inspired paintings by Natalie Goods Exquisite landscape and floral photography by Richard Lawson…Wallingford Pizza House
Finally checked out the Wallingford Pizza House on a recent Sunday evening, and now I’m wondering why it took me so long to swing by.
The Wallingford Pizza House is proud to be Seattle’s only classic Chicago Style Pizza House. They’re located in a cute little old house (circa 1913) on 45th street, right between the two Guild 45th Theaters. Our waiter was friendly and attentive while also being laid back in a really comfortable sort of way. No hovering, no overly anxious “will you tip me now?” service. Just a competent and helpful guy who wanted to serve good …
