Have you been working on your will, advanced directive, or other legal documents you’d like to get notarized? Come join us for a Notary Party! We’ll have no-cost notary services available between 3pm and 6pm, no appointment necessary. Bring your completed but unsigned documents with a notary section and a valid ID. If your documents need witnesses, we will have at least two on hand. You’re also welcome to come just to be a witness for others!
Cinema Termite Presents: In the Heat of the Night

This 1967 film tells the story of Virgil Tibbs (Sidney Poitier), a Black police detective from Philadelphia who becomes embroiled in a murder investigation in a small town in Mississippi. Starring Sidney Poitier and Rod Steiger with a score by Quincy Jones. This film is widely considered one of the most important American films of the 1960s. Free.
Rolling Crones Performance

Seattle Symphony Outing

Mount St. Helens Presentation

After more than four decades, the eruption of Mount St. Helens still captivates the imagination and excites our sense of wonder and awe. Join retired park ranger Pat Pilcher on a journey to reveal this moment in history through personal stories and images of this stunning geologic event. Pat spent 30 years working as a forestry technician/park ranger and naturalist guide in positions with the US Forest Service, the National Park Service, King County Parks, and the city of Seattle Parks. Enchanted April is a 1991 British historical drama film. When married British women Rose Arbuthnot (Miranda Richardson) and Lottie Wilkins (Josie Lawrence) decide to take a break from their respective spouses, they stay at a castle in Italy for a quiet holiday. Joining the ladies is Caroline Dester (Polly Walker), a young socialite, and Mrs. Fisher (Joan Plowright), an older aristocrat. Liberated from their daily routines, the four women ease into life in rural Italy, and each finds herself transformed by the experience. Movie is free and so is the popcorn!
Skagit Tulip Festival Outing

Qigong Class

The ancient Chinese practice of Qigong uses slow, precise movements and controlled breathing to improve balance, flexibility, and muscle strength. Jean Clough, Qigong Instructor, has been studying Qigong since 1999 and has been teaching for 16 years. With a background in science, Jean delights in teaching Qigong in ways relevant to Western minds and is enchanted by the magic of energy and the power of healing through our minds. Every Tuesday from April 22nd – June 17th (except May 27th) from 4pm to 5pm. $4 for members, $6 for nonmembers
Water Color Painting Class

After a great watercolor class this February, Kelly is back to host an ongoing watercolor group! Come every 2nd and 4th Wednesday starting April 23rd to explore the art of watercolor painting with other artists of all levels—no experience necessary! Share ideas and create beautiful artwork in a fun, relaxed environment. Supplies are provided but feel free to bring your own.
