And now for something completely different on your favorite neighborhood blog. Welcome to the first entry of a new, semi-regular series featuring some of the beloved members of our community – our four-legged friends*. If you’re like me, you’re frequently out and about and see a pup being walked who looks like they might be friendly, but going up to their companion and asking to say hi might be a little intimidating (Seattle freeze and all that). Well, I’m going to do the hard part for you and highlight some of the dapper dogs being walked in the neighborhood to make them famous right here in our own little corner of the internet. That way, you can go up to the owner and say “Hey, isn’t that Snoopy/Toto/Scooby-Doo/Rowlf/Lassie? I saw them on Wallyhood!” Without further ado…
Pup’s Name: Lillie T. Nelson (T is for Trouble)
Breed and Age: Basset hound, 2 years
What makes Lillie fabulous: She’s 44” long from ears to tail
What’s on Lillie’s mind today: January sun/makes a dog dream of summer/warm days coming soon
* Dogs for now. Cats, pot bellied pigs, iguanas, etc are fair game. Pets with fewer than 4 legs also welcome.
