This Friday and Saturday, January 10 and 11, Ladd and Lass Brewing will be celebrating their third great year of brewing beer, and we’re all invited to join the party. I used to say that Ladd & Lass, located at 722 NE 45th St, was the nearest brewery for most of our neighborhood. With the addition of Gasworks Brewing down on Lake Union, that’s true for fewer of us. Still, it’s just the other side of I-5 on 45th street, so I’m sure you can find your way there.
What’s on tap (pardon the pun) for the 3rd Anniversary? From their press release:
Ladd & Lass Brewing (L&L) is celebrating their 3rd anniversary on Friday, 1/10, from 3–10pm and Saturday, 1/11, from 12–10pm. Year 3 was an incredible year that saw L&L bring home 7 medals, win Single Hill’s Hop Rodeo, land on Craft Beer and Brewing’s “The Best 20 Beer in 2024”, participate in 11 collabs, and donate over $6,000 to charitable causes—among other memorable milestones. Though the L&L team is small, they are mighty in their passion for Craft Beer and cannot wait to celebrate with the community who has supported them over the past three years.
The festivities will flow with barleywine, amongst other delicious offerings. Partygoers will be able to enjoy a taproom-exclusive flight of four barleywines, which will include a barrel-aged barleywine from L&L’s first anniversary. This year’s celebrations also features L&L’s very first anniversary collaboration—a hoppy Czech pils brewed with the good folx at Lowercase Brewing.

- Barleywine Flight (while supplies last): Four-taster flight featuring: Barrel-aged Year 1, Barrel-aged Year 2, Year 2, and Year 3.
- Coloring Contest: Per L&L tradition, we will have a coloring contest to commemorate our anniversary. People’s Choice Voting will take place from January 15–January 24. Prizes will be awarded to the top three vote-getters!
- Georgia’s Greek Food Truck 5-8pm: Delicious Greek eats from our friends, Laki & Greta!
- Saturday, January 11 (taproom hours 12-10 pm):
