Wallingford is blessed to have two full-service florists serving the community. One is Cedarhouse Flowers located on N 45th St, and the second is Hansen’s Florist Shop, owned by long-time Wallingford resident Helen Hansen is located conveniently at 4606 Stone Way N. They are celebrating their 79th anniversary at the Georgetown/Seattle location and 39th anniversary at the Wallingford/location which includes servicing to Fremont and Ballard neighborhoods.
Hansen’s Florist Seattle is local, and family owned serving Seattle and the surrounding cities since 1945. They offer same-day, daily, and worldwide delivery and are available to service the local community floral needs for events and special occasions. They offer the freshest flowers guaranteed, exquisite style and design quality backed by our prompt courteous service. They gladly custom design arrangements to fit your needs, whether it be for a wedding, a funeral, or a corporate event. I have found the professional staff is dedicated and knowledgeable making the shopping experience a pleasant one. They even deliver on Sunday with a 24 hour notice.
John Nogales, the local Wallingford shop florist is very knowledgeable and customer focused.
On a recent visit, while chatting with John, he prepared a nice bouquet for my wife, which she was delighted.
There is a small sitting area inside the flower shop and a small courtyard right adjacent to the main store.
Open Monday through Saturday, and the occasional Sunday (i.e. if major holidays fall on a Sunday or your special order for a Sunday event). With the holidays approaching or if you just want to surprise someone, you can’t go wrong with flowers, and I strongly recommend stopping into this little treasure of a flower shop.
