When we first moved to Wallingford, the previous homeowners warned us to stock up on LOTS of candyβand they weren’t kidding! Every year, around 100 costumed kiddos visit our house. If you want to partake, this is your friendly reminder to get some candy before the shelves at QFC and CVS are bare.Β As a parent of young kids who have their costumes planned for the next three years, I canβt get enough of the Halloween spirit.
Inspired by Garyβs story about our neighborhood haunted house, I wanted to share a couple more events to help you celebrate this spooky season:
Pumpkin Carving at Murphy’s

π° Cost: $20 includes a pumpkin and all carving supplies (plus they clean up all the pumpkin guts!)

Wallingford’s Famous Haunted Alley — benefiting FamilyWorks
ποΈ Dates: October 26th-27th
π Time: 5 PM – 8 PM
π Enjoy spooky games, fun decorations, and of course, loads of candy! This event is free, but donations to FamilyWorks are greatly appreciated. Ghouls of all ages are welcome! @seattlehalloweenalley
