The Wallyhood community welcomes an exciting new creative space—Throw and Build, a membership-based pottery studio co-owned by Henry Yiu and Jessica Zou, is opening its doors for a public open house this Saturday, September 7, from 1–5 PM.
Located in the historic red brick building that once housed Seattle Stained Glass, Henry and Jessica have been working closely with the building’s owner to transform the space into a vibrant center for creativity and learning. Throw and Build offers hand-building and wheel-throwing activities, with a focus on helping individuals develop pottery skills, explore their creativity, and find personal fulfillment.
The grand opening will feature snacks, drinks, live wheel-throwing demonstrations, and an opportunity to meet the talented instructors and studio technicians. Guests will also have the chance to purchase pottery made by the studio’s team and even play with a little clay.
The owners are excited to introduce Throw and Build to the Wallyhood community and are looking forward to welcoming neighbors into this new creative space.
Stop by this Saturday — TODAY– to celebrate, learn, and get involved in the growing pottery community!
