Wallingford has one of the best fine dining restaurants in Seattle in our midst at Art of the Table, 3801 Stone Way. The locally sourced, seasonal, ever changing tasting menu is one of my “go to” places to take out of town guests or celebrate a special anniversary or birthday, AOTT has a multitude of other offerings that can be enjoyed at any time.
This family owned restaurant has been operating in Wallingford for 17 years. Husband and wife team Chef Dustin Ronspies and Shannon Van Horn have created an elegant, welcoming space where you can watch the work up close from the 8-seat chef’s table, cozy up for a cocktail at the side bar, or sit out on the patio in the sunshine (once it arrives) for a la carte dining.
During the early days of the pandemic, Chef Dustin and team created the best Sunday dinner take out meals providing menus that worked for pick-up but still dazzled the taste buds. Currently, the Cupboard at AOTT is a grab & go market located inside the restaurant where you pick up family-style take-out dinners as well as groceries, wine, beer, chef driven & artisanal products. The Cupboard is open 12-8 Tuesday-Saturday.
The AOTT team is always designing creative experiences related to food with cooking classes and supper clubs hosted at various times throughout the year. Coming up on June 30th, 2024 is their Stone Way Soiree, to celebrate their 17th Anniversary with an afternoon of food, snacks and summer fun! This event will be a social casual, standup event with delicious rotating foods, an oyster station, an array of fun summery drinks a DJ booth, raffle tickets and more!
The next time your in the mood for a unique shopping experience (the Cupboard) a drink and some snacks (the patio or the bar) or a fabulous dining experience (main restaurant) head over to Art of the Table and say hello!
Love the fact they've added patio seating and looking forward to going back again as soon as the weather gets actually June and July-ish. Just tried Atoma for the first time too – we're spoiled for awesome restaurants here in Wallingford.
