My name is Russ Hanbey and I am a local artist in the Wallingford/Greenlake area and run the Latona Gallery located at 6410 Latona Ave. NE. I am having an Opening Reception of my art show: “Littoral Artefacts.” In addition to the opening night where we will be serving refreshments and food, the show will run for several months at the Latona Gallery. My show features art using repurposed materials from the shores of Puget Sound. You will find the pieces atypical of most beach art. Come and enjoy.

About the gallery:
In March of 2023, Russ Hanbey and Jeanne Anderson opened the Latona Gallery near the corner of 65th and Latona. The initial art pieces were wire and wood creations reflecting the rough edges of the Sonoran Desert in Southern Arizona. Also included were an array of framed photographs of birdlife found around Tucson, their home at the time, and in the Region. Samples of these will be on display in the new Show at the Gallery.
