Think you know princesses? Think again! Woodland Park Players’ production of Disenchanted delivers comic relief in a hilariously subversive, not-for-the-kiddies hit musical running Nov. 3-5, 2023.
Nominated for “Outstanding Off-Broadway Musical” (Outer Critics Circle Awards) and “Best New Off-Broadway musical” (Off Broadway Alliance), this musical is anything but Grimm. Disenchanted features a multi-cultural cast of 15 women to play these royal renegades, spanning five decades from ages 20-to-60-something. Woodland Park Players really puts the “community” in community theater, drawing on the talent of local residents from Phinney Ridge, Ballard, Greenwood and Green Lake—and of course Wallingford!
Woodland Park Players funnels profits from ticket sales into grants for the arts in Seattle Public Schools. To date, WPP has granted more than $35,000 to Seattle schools.
Come on by to support the vibrant arts in our schools and community, and spread the word to all your neighbors, friends, and family. Delicious treats and beverages will be for sale at all performances, and as a bonus, matinee performances get you a free mimosa or any other beverage of your choice.
