The Wallingford Local is produced through a joint effort of Historic Wallingford, the farmers market and SPACE 101 FM. Hosted by local personality Felix Banel, the show features “an eclectic assortment of guests including musicians, spoken-word artists, historians, business owners, and others.” Megan posted about it here.
The first edition of The Wallingford Local aired last month. Featured was Sarah Martin of Historic Wallingford who gave us the low-down on her organization, their current efforts and their future plans. Ben Chandler, manager of the farmers market, provided listeners with a behind-the-scenes look at market operations. And complementing the talk were tunes from Wallingford’s own Orion’s Belt.
