The Wallingford Kiddie Parade, a neighborhood tradition for over 75 years, is less than a month away. Organized by Celebrate Wallingford, the parade has been urgently seeking help which we posted about in November and February. Opportunities are still available to lend a hand, and if you plan to participate as a marcher or in other events surrounding the parade, now is the time to register:
- Parade Registration is OPEN! Drill Teams, Neighborhood Groups, Schools, Local Businesses! If you haven’t yet registered to march in the parade, the time is NOW! For more info and registration forms, here’s your LINK.
- The Great Parade Float Bonanza. We encourage people to create cool floats! Blake Garfield, (Celebrate Wallingford Board President) has a couple trailers to loan to folks who’d like to create a parade float. Yes, there’s NO rental fee! He’ll even deliver it to your door.
