Few things assure me that summer is really coming to Seattle more than the return of the Wallingford Farmers Market! With the sun shining this week, I am ready — drooling as I conjure to mind the combination of ripe tomatoes and Oaxacan style cheese eaten while sprawled on a blanket in the grass. And neighbors, we don’t have to wait much longer!
The market returns to Meridian Park at the corner of Meridian Avenue N and N 50th Street on May 24th! This farmers market is recognized as one of the best in the state and promises to keep us well fed and with a reason to congregate from 3:00pm-7:00pm each Wednesday into September!
