The day to Give Big is here. This is the day when our Wallingford social service organizations need you to step up and make a contribution to help them get ready for a busy summer. Wallyhood published a post with details about our neighborhood’s eight major social service organizations last week. Go here to get links directly to their webpages. Take a look back to read about Assistance League of Seattle, Boys & Girls Club, Family Works, Historic Wallingford, Solid Ground, Stone Soup Theatre, Tilth Alliance and the Wallingford Community Senior Center.
Also this week: Wednesday, May 3, 2023 is your chance to meet Rep. Pramila Jayapal at the Wallingford Community Council meeting.

Well yeah, it’s just a random list of non-profit organizations with no obvious rhyme or rhythm . SFMA that runs the Wallingford farmer’s market is probably more of a social service than Stone Soup or Historic Wallingford if you stretch the definition. University District Food Bank while not inside Wallingford could be considered a major social service resource for Wallingford.
