Sofi, a student at Lincoln High school, invites all Wallingford neighbors to participate in the “One Step at a Time Contest”:
For my biology class, my group and I are creating a sustainability competition which will be a Wallingford-wide effort. This involves a list of tasks that help individuals have a smaller carbon footprint.
The website – http://www.zero2sustainability.com provides more detail on how to participate:
The One Step at a Time Contest is for anyone interested in reducing their carbon footprint. Climate change is a global issue that must be addressed. By preforming these tasks, you will reduce your personal carbon emissions and help the fight against global warming.
Please fill out the form below starting March 19th and mark the amount of times you completed each task. You can also post on Instagram and tag us @zero2sustainability for credit! The challenge ends on April 16th and winners will be announced by the end of the April. The three people with the most amount of tasks completed win a prize! The first place winner will receive a dozen Mighty O Donuts!
