Anytime I get a last minute invite to a friend’s house for dinner, I have one clear stop to make first — just up the street to Tres Lecheria (formerly Cubes Baking Company). There are few things that satisfy a crowd more than a perfectly executed, sweet and silky Tres Leches cake! Last time I was there, they even had handmade jewelry and dog apparel (though that is not the main attraction)!
Tres Lecheria is hosting a 5 year anniversary party in celebration of weathering the Covid-19 pandemic — TOMORROW!
Our very own award-winning dessert shop, will be hosting a 5th birthday celebration at its brick and mortar location here in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle. Having successfully navigated the Covid-19 pandemic, Tres Lecheria will be using their 5th anniversary of operation as an opportunity to thank their customers and neighbors for the continued support they’ve shown throughout the ordeal.
The cake shop, whose products are carried in 50+ retailers and restaurants in the PNW, has geared up for a day of celebration starting at 11:00 am at their flagship location at 2315 N. 45th St. Local artists and a DJ will be featured throughout the day, as well as throwback items from Cubes Baking Company, including cakes, flan, and cheddar jalapeno scones. Outdoor seating will be available.
The first 50 customers to make a purchase will even receive a complimentary Tres Lechería branded reusable metal water bottle.
The festivities begin at 11:00 am and will finish when the last item is sold!

Wallyhood neighbors, I will see you there and have my intentions set to score my favorite throw back jalapeno scone and a nice slice of both the Traditional flavor and the sweet goodness of the Dulce de Leche!

I can report back that the snacks were tasty! 🙂 As they opened there was a long line of folks looking for treats. It was great to see the enthusiasm for our neighborhood tres leches shop!
