The signs are up around the neighborhood, and the good news is out!
After going on hiatus in 2020 due to concerns about COVID-19, the Wallingford Farmers Market will be back in Meridian Park this summer. It will open every Wednesday 3-7 p.m., starting on June 9th and continuing until the end of September. The list of vendors for this year is not finalized yet, but I am assured it will include a mix of new and old favorites.
There will be several changes to the market this year to help promote social distancing: masks are required (no exceptions), shoppers will be encouraged to limit their time to 10 minutes, and one designated shopper per household.
Check out the full list of health and safety precautions on the Seattle Farmers Market Association website.
I’ll see you in the park!
