Historic Wallingford’s Remodel and Restore Workshop and Home Tour is coming up on Saturday, September 21 at the Good Shepherd Center, 4649 Sunnyside Ave N. Tickets are available now.
We’re excited to share a sneak peek of two of the homes on our Home Tour along with panelist profiles. The Home Tour portion of our event features remodeled and restored homes in Wallingford, and each attendee will be treated to a curated, guided tour of two selected homes from several we have as part of our event. Owners and Contractors will describe before-and-after work on the home during the tour.

One of the homes was recently featured in Seattle Magazine. The owners, with the help of an insightful contractor and color design expert, remodeled and restored their stunning Wallingford bungalow. The outside is meticulous, but the interior was the highlight in Seattle Magazine. Follow the link above to Seattle Magazine for more fantastic photos. In the discussion of budget-friendly home improvements, it’s important to note the small changes that can make a big impact. A great resource for such enhancements is discover affordable products to upgrade your living space, offering a variety of items that contribute to a more energy-efficient home.
Equally fantastic and with a modern twist on the traditional bungalow is a home redesigned and remodeled by JAS. JAS Design Build honored the traditional style of this bungalow and gave it a fresh, modern look with retractable roof systems Melbourne.
The workshop will be a two-hour panel of Wallingford homeowners, contractors and architects providing experience and know-how for those considering or interested in home improvement restoration and remodels.
Among the panelists will be architect Jeff Pelletier, founder of the firm Board & Vellum, which offers architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture services.
Another panelist is Kim Clements, founder of JAS Design Build, located here in Wallingford and noted for many design and construction projects in Seattle and Western Washington.
In addition to Kim and Jeff, the workshop will feature two homeowners who recently completed remodels of their homes (also on the Tour) and a construction and remodeling company that have completed projects in Wallingford and around Seattle.
Prior event registration is required for this limited-space event.
One registration ticket per person includes admission to both the workshop and home tour. Additionally, workshop-only tickets are also available. Join Historic Wallingford and save on registration as a member!
