Bad Woman Yarn in Wallingford Center will be closing after a decade in business.
Judd Burrow writes:
Ten and a half years ago we closed the Bad Woman shop in Manzanita on the Oregon Coast. We were excited to move back to Seattle to be closer to a new granddaughter.
We moved Bad Woman Yarn into the Wallingford Center and quickly made it our home. This year, after significant birthday, the end of a lease, and the addition of two little grandsons on the East Coast, we have decided it is time to give up the Bad Woman and retire.
Because the process of closing the store seemed so daunting, both physically and emotionally, we have turned the store closing to a professional company. Keep posted for notice of our big sale with extreme bargains and chances for prizes. We will be here throughout the sale, which will end mid-December. However, we wanted to personally inform you of our plans.
During our ten plus years, we have made many wonderful friends. It is because of our customers, vendors, sales reps, fellow shop owners and our staff that the Bad Woman has been such a wonderful experience. So, it is with sadness that we say farewell, but with great anticipation of our next adventure.
In answer to a follow-up question, Judd said that the aforementioned sale has begun.
I hope it becomes a bakery.
You will be sorely missed!
You will be missed. Thank you for years.
I hope it becomes a good bakery.
