Wallyhood reader Kira wrote to let the neighborhood know about a fun event happening at Verity Credit Union (Located at 4545 Stone Way N) this weekend.
For the 4th year in a row, Verity Credit Union is having its Dog Days of Wallingford event on Saturday, August 5, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. This event was inspired by members routinely bringing their dogs into the branch (which we enjoy) so we wanted to do something special for our four-legged friends.
This year, the event features the following:

- A pet caricature artistPet
- Pet poetryDog
- Dog-related goodies
- Live music by Abraham Neuwelt and Kitt Bender
- Plus, the first 100 guests will receive free iced coffee and a polaroid with them and their dog
The whole event is free for anyone to attend.
