The Wallingford Community Council continues to play a strong role in the community such as the recent Tenants’ Rights Bootcamp. As with most players in local Seattle politics, the Community Council also has its detractors.
Now is your chance to get involved with the Council and have your say in its future. However, you will have to act fast to vote in the election for officers and directors at the meeting on May 17th.
To vote in the election, you must be a member by the end of today, May 2nd. Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting and here from George Scarola, Director of Homelessness for the City of Seattle. However, to vote at the meeting you need to be a member as of today.
Here is info on becoming a member. You can pay using PayPal or check. http://www.wallingfordcc.org/membership/
