Gerald from the Iron Bull (2121 N 45th St) says they’re having a clothing swap this Monday, November 23 at 8:00pm – 2:00 am:
It’s time for Spring Cleaning!…err…fall cleaning? Either way, here in Seattle it’s the time of year that you switch from your only-used-for-3-months summer wardrobe to your oh-my-god-all-of-my-clothing-is-waterproof-and/or-made-for-layering fall/winter/spring wardrobe.
So we know you have some stuff you want to get rid of. Whether it’s that faux fur jacket you thought you loved at Nordstrom Rack but never wore because you knew the fur would get matted and gross in the rain, or those peep-toe heels that are such a perfect cranberry color that they’ve made it to a couple Thanksgiving gatherings, but haven’t ventured out of the closet and into the storm for much else.
You got it and you don’t want it, but someone else might! Bring in your new and gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories to The Iron Bull and pick through some from other people! Please wash and make sure items are clean before bringing them in.
Drinks specials will abound, and all excess clothing will be donated to Lifelong Thrift in Capitol Hill.
The Iron Bull is also holding a food drive through Northwest Harvest through December 22nd. Bring in a donation for a $1 drink (one per customer per day) “and that warm, fuzzy feeling you get from helping others.”
