evo is holding a free event on mountain safety for kids, featuring dogs and hot chocolate. Dogs and hot chocolate! Chris writes:
Nothing goes better together than dogs and snow. Who doesn’t like to see a dog riding the chair with their patroller partner…although it might be the most adorable thing in skiing and snowboarding, these animals have a purpose. To help keep you safe and save lives. This Wednesday, we want to invite you to our Kids Safety Night at evo in Seattle in order to meet the Crystal Mountain Avalanche Rescue Dogs! We will have the mixins’ for hot chocolate on hand, an avi dog coloring station, and you can learn firsthand from the handlers about their pups and what they do!
That evening, all kids ski and snowboard gear and outerwear will be on sale, as well as most backcountry safety gear and evo is donating 5% of our sale during 5-7 pm to the Northwest Avalanche Center.
