July 5th has become the day “scaredy cats” show up in our neighborhood. This year the friendliest black cat hid out here and is now being very persistent in re-homing itself here. I’m not sure of the gender but there are a coupla nicks out of an ear, a tell tale ring where a collar used to be, and pretty fearless when it comes to dogs. Missing a cat? Our neighborhood is between 45th & 46th on Eastern Ave North. Please contact Arrow @ 206-992-1339 so you can be reunited…it’ll feel so good!
Perhaps ask identifying marks be edited out of your post so only the true owner can get the cat from you?
Thanks, and there are a few more “identifying marks” that were not included in the description.
Can you please describe the ear and the specific notch or notches? Is it one specific notch or several, and in what ear? Is the cat a female?
If there is a single small ‘split’ in (I believe) the right ear, that cat is named ‘Shivah’ and is a known and well-loved neighborhood cat who cries at doors hoping to be fed.
However, Shivah usually has a collar. I think I have the tag # at home and can follow up later tonight.
I’m not certain about the gender – and there is one notch in this cat’s right ear. Shivah! what a great name. There is still one more identifying characteristic that I have not shared. Where is your neighborhood? I got a call that the cat was seen in the yard across from me…that was yesterday – July 14 – in the afternoon. Please please please let this cat be Shivah. In this heat we are all very sad and feel guilty that we cannot share our “fandom” with it. Oh yes, no collar.
FOUND BLK CAT – STILL NOT CLAIMED!
We still have this wonderful black cat in the hood (between 45&46 Eastern Avenue North.
We’re pretty sure now it is a neutered male.
I’m off to get it scanned this afternoon…fingers crossed that I can deliver this cat to its peeps…sooner than later.
Thanks
