Wallingford residents and neighbors are invited to learn more about the great local businesses and organizations our North Seattle neighborhoods have to offer at the Cheers to Chambers Business Expo!
Originally begun as “Cheers to Wallingford” nearly 4 years ago, the Cheers to Chambers Business Expo & Community Meet Up on Wednesday, February 19th from 4:30-7:30 p.m. will feature local businesses, non-profit organizations and community projects. This year’s Expo is being held at the beautiful Fremont Studios event space.
The event will feature demonstrations and samples from a wide variety of North Seattle businesses and organizations. Local sports announcer and radio personality Mark Aucutt will keep the entertainment rolling, including presentations by local businesses and institutions as well as drawings sponsored by participating vendors which will be held throughout the evening.
Vendors from local restaurants and shops will supply a variety of tasty food and drink samples. ID is required for the 21+ drink “Tasting Garden”. Food samples will be available throughout the event.
And, we just got word that Seattle Mayor Ed Murray will be there to address the attendees and mingle with the participants!
The Expo is presented by the Wallingford, Ballard, Fremont, Green Lake, Phinney/Greenwood and Queen Anne Neighborhood Chambers of Commerce and Business Associations. Support for the event is provided by the People’s Academy for Community Engagement (PACE) and the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods. The event is sponsored by Kane Environmental (located in Fremont) and Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle (located in Wallingford).
