Tara Shuttleworth of Babette’s Events reminds us that The Goddess Festival will be returning for its 3rd year on Saturday, Sept. 14th. Like last year, this event, which benefits The Wallingford Community Senior Center, will take place at Woodland Park.
Tara writes:
“The Third Annual Goddess Festival will take place in Seattle’s Lower Woodland Park on September 14th, 2013 to bring together the community and create a unified inspirational heartbeat. Live music, local artists and vendors, performance workshops and a Kid Zone will demonstrate to festival-goers that through this heartbeat, we can heal and transform our larger community by generating positivity and strength in numbers.
While the event is free and open to the public, as you laugh your “Goddass off” to favorite acts such as Jet City Improv and shake that Goddess booty to funk masters Richie Aldente, proceeds from carnival games and the local wine, beer, and root beer garden as well as the Giving Tree Donation Bin will benefit our seniors, The Wallingford Community Senior Center. Adults and children of all ages will be reminded that you can party for pleasure while you party with a purpose. “
The Goddess Festival will start at noon and run until about 10 PM on Saturday, Sept. 14th. Visit http://www.goddessfestival.info/ to learn more.
