Get ready for Seattle Tilth’s Harvest Fair happening at Meridian Park (4649 Sunnyside Avenue North) on Saturday, September 7, from 10:00am to 4:00pm. This hands-on festival is a fun day of workshops, activities, music and dancing, cider pressings, and cooking demonstrations. Try your luck in playing Chicken Poop Bingo, check out the harvest parade, see some chickens, goats, and bees. Plus, there will be up to 100 community organizations, vendors and organic farmers.
But wait — there’s more! Wallingford’s own Fathia Atallah is playing with Les Troubadours during the festival, from 2-3pm featuring Miguel Ramos, Guitarist extraordinaire (From Spain) and Mehdi Derbouka, hand drum (From Morocco). Fathia writes:

And finally, bring your appetites to the Wallingford Community Senior Center for a Harvest Breakfast, from 9am-12pm. The Harvest Breakfast will feature burritos, muffins, fruit and beverages. Cost: Adults $6, Kids $3.
