A free pregnancy class is being offered on Monday, September 16 at the Present-Sense Community Art and Mindfulness Center (4131 Woodland Park Avenue N.) beginning at 7:00PM. The class will cover an introduction to Sacred Pregnancy. Tanaya Caim, a doula and childbirth educator, explains:
Your Sacred Pregnancy is a journey. Our classes hold space for pregnant women to connect with one another and their pregnancy experiences in meaningful and personal ways. Sacred Pregnancy classes bring back the age old tradition of women sitting with one another during pregnancy and birth, getting EMPOWERED, witnessing each other’s process and BEING there for one another during an incredibly power-FULL rite of passage…becoming mothers.
Join in the circle…Monday, September 16th from 7:00 to 8:30, and see what Sacred Pregnancy is all about.Attendees will take part in the “Going to the Bowl” tradition that is performed at all Sacred Pregnancy retreats and during week eight of the Pregnancy Journey classes. The salt bowl represents your purest intentions for yourself. Bring with you something that natural that represents you (Essential oil, herbs, flowers, spices, fruit, sesame seeds, stones, shells, anything natural). Please bring a jar if you wish to take some of the bath salts home with you. This info night is intended to give attendees the opportunity to learn more about the Sacred Pregnancy classes, to connect in a safe circle with other women and to meet your instructor, Tanaya Caim from Childbirth in Seattle.Tell your clients, friends, and community about this event and if you’re an expectant mama, please join us.
