Scarecrow Video is not just one the best independent video stores in Seattle, it’s one of the best in the country. One commenter on our initial post welcoming them aboard called them the “Powell’s Books of Video”. High praise, indeed. And did you know they have 2-for-1 rentals every Wednesday? And now, Scarecrow Video has a coffee/tea bar in the store? Check it out!
$1445/month for a studio? On Stone Way. I-I-I I just don’t now what to . . .
Yes, Wally Apartments along with the other newly opened apartments are pricey. I know that Wally and Noble apartments are part of a program where reduced rent is offered if you make less than 50K for one person or 62K for two people. I think something like 25% of their units are reserved for the reduced price in exchange for tax breaks or something.
Yep, overpriced and empty.. just like Prescott.
In addition, no one will be sponsoring the 5th of July gasworks clean up after the festivities. Who wants to help?
(1) Just curious, how do you know the Prescott is “empty?”
(2) If there are plans to organize a 5th of July clean-up, I hope someone will post them here. Thanks!
based on all the street parking being consumer by prescott residents, it doesn’t seem like they are empty.
Their ads for rental and continuous signs give some indication. Not completely empty, but NOT full.
I hope we can figure out some clean up effort. Ive spent enough time on phone with Starbucks and nothing of substance.
I really like the storefronts they created in the Wally which have garage door openings. Personally, I think this creates more aesthetically pleasing opportunities. So many mixed use buildings have recessed store fronts that make it very hard to see what the business is about.
