KING 5 News reports that a man wearing hospital scrubs broke into a Wallingford home, early in the morning, on Thursday, June 6. The incident occurred at the 4000 block of Densmore Avenue N. The suspect is a 26 year-old male who came in through a first-floor window that was “unlocked and slightly ajar” according to the report. The owner of the home and his family were asleep when they heard their dog barking loudly and found the suspect on the stairs leading up to their children’s bedroom. The homeowner grabbed the suspect and called the police, who then arrested the suspect (or, at least, tried to because the suspect was rambling incoherently while the police read him his Miranda rights). According to the report, however, “The King County prosecutor’s office says he was released Monday because they had not received a complete case file yet from detectives.”
At this point, it’s unclear why the suspect was wearing hospital scrubs.

People, people, what were you (not) thinking???!! How can you not lock doors and windows? this time you were lucky…..
Wallingford is in the middle of an urban area – it is not Mayberry, USA!
more concerning than someone making an error in judgement in leaving a door ajar is the fact that this person walked out of jail without any charges for breaking and entering.
good work city government.
