This Thursday, June 13, from 11:30am to 1:00PM, Mayor Mike McGinn and the City of Seattle’s Aging & Disabilities Director, Jesse Eller will be at the Wallingford Community Senior Center (4649 Sunnyside Avenue North, lower level) to discuss aging in the community.
A light lunch will be served. Please RSVP: [email protected] or 206-461-7825.
This is a great opportunity. Wallingford has a delightful distribution of ages.
I hope others are able to attend.
some of us elders still work regular hours and can NOT attend a day time meeting.
Hi yoyo,
Yes, I thought of that and meant to mention it in my post. I am hoping that the attendance is good. I plan to ask for an evening meeting.
I will write my impressions on the forum. This is a start, and i hope it becomes something really big and useful for all who live in the area.
I live near the new development. As long as they provide realistic parking spaces for the new residents and space for new businesses, and do not change existing zoning then I don’t really have a beef with the project.
Hi evon,
I think your comment was intended for the post on the new developments. This is a different topic. Maybe it will get moved over to that topic
