Sadako, the iconic bronze sculpture of the Hiroshima survivor that has graced our side of the University Bridge, was vandalized this past summer. We just heard that she’s come home again, fixed and fit.
Alan Berner of the Seattle Times shot some beautiful photos of her repair and return: Sadako Sculpture Returns.
Welcome home.

Great bunch of photos! I drive by there 3-4 times a week and am very happy to see Sadako back where she belongs!
