Did you make a New Year’s resolution to clean out the basement of all that junk? But now you’ve got that liberal guilt of not wanting to fill landfill with all that mercury in the electronics and waste perfectly good metal and what have. But then, you’re too lazy to actually do anything about it. So what’s to do?
Fret not, because there’s a solution that aligns with your environmental concerns and your inclination for convenience. Consider hiring a professional cleaning service that specializes in eco-friendly disposal and recycling. A company like ATEX Premier Cleaning website, with their expertise in responsible waste management, can efficiently sort through your basement clutter. By relying on experts, you can declutter your space guilt-free, knowing you’re contributing to both environmental preservation and responsible recycling practices without having to lift a finger.
After that Lucas has the answer:
My name is Lucas Trautman. I’ve been a Wallyhoodite(?) my whole life, and I was wondering if it would be possible for you guys to post a little thing about a fundraiser I am currently working on.
I am an Eagle Scout from Troop/Crew 186 and we are currently selling tickets for our E-cycling fundraiser. For $25 we will remove a 2×2 box full of unwanted electronics or 1 desktop computer with components or 1 monitor up to 60” (150lbs). You can buy as many tickets as you like if you have a lot of stuff you need to get rid of. We will take Desktops, laptops, tablets, chargers, cords, networking equipment, printers, phones, TVs monitors, batteries, etc. Unfortunately, we can not take appliances, furniture or pesky children. Once we pick up the items, they will be delivered to a recycler who will dispose or recycle everything properly and safely.
You can contact Lucas at (206)818-9983 or [email protected].
What a great idea. Looking around the homestead for what needs to go.
The best place to take your old computers, TVs, and ewaste is InterConnection at 3415 Stone Way N. InterConnection is a non-profit that refurbishes computers and provides them to worldwide charitable organizations. 206-633-1517
What an awesome idea! Way to go, Lucas. Sign me up. I agree with Barb to take the useable computers to InterConnection.
This is a great idea! My old heavy bulky TV died in Dec and I was trying to find a way to get it to the recycle without inconveniencing others as it wouldn’t fit in my car and to heavy for me to pick up. Lucas was very easy to work with and I highly recommend!
