We found this treat in our mailbox a couple days ago, from Nancy and Stuart over on Latona. Holiday cards are nice. No reason cards are even nicer. Thanks, Nancy!
Aw shucks commenters! Jordan, thank you for inclusion in your virtual art gallery! The setting is looking west from a residential deck in Edmonds, watercolor on paper, though I have to give the awesome color photocopy machine a shout out. (And they did start out as holiday cards . . . the last ones went out today; slow and steady wins the race and Valentines are next.)
I got inspiration for this ongoing series from local artist Gabriel Campanario and his wonderful new book: http://www.powells.com/biblio/1-9781592537259-1
Here on 2nd Ave, we love Nancy and Stuart, too!
We were lucky recipients as well. Love the Talented Nancy M (and Stuart as well). Our hood is lucky to have them!
Thank you for sharing this with us. Delightful. Colors so welcome on this rainy day.
