Wallyhood sponsor, Cometa Playschool (4106 Stone Way North), is hosting an open house at the school on Saturday, February 2, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and invites parents and children to explore their preschool and Pre K programs.
Cometa Playschool is a neighborhood preschool offering Spanish language immersion. It’s ideal for tots who will be enrolled in the language immersion programs at John Stanford International School or McDonald Elementary.
Students at Cometa are also exposed to world cultures through play and music, and they learn about their role as a global citizen. Once a year, the school participates in community service, and in the past, they’ve done a food drive for Northwest Harvest and have worked with sisterschools.org to help donate to schools in Uganda, East Africa.
Parent Lesley M. writes:
“Cometa is an excellent choice for us. It is a peaceful, positive and fun environment where our son thrives while getting a top notch bilingual education.”
Check them out and you’ll see why Cometa has earned the Exceptional Caregiver Award in 2010 from KCTS!
Both of my children attended Cometa and loved it! Great program.
