SATAY Malaysian Street Food (1711 N. 45th Street) is celebrating its second anniversary this Sunday, December 9, and as a “thank you” to the community, they’re giving a little something away in exchange for a small donation to Mercy Corps. Owner Peter Ringold gave us the scoop:
Over the past two years we have been fortunate to have received tremendous support from the Wallingford community.
We’d like to thank everyone for their support and invite them to come to Satay this Sunday, December 9th to celebrate our Second Anniversary. We’re offering either a free roti canai or thai tea to any person who comes in all day.
We are asking anyone who takes advantage of this offer to make a small donation to Mercy Corps(http://www.mercycorps.org), a tremendous internationally focused non-profit with Seattle-based staff. They provide emergency aid and sustainable development in some of the toughest places in the world.
SATAY opened for business on December 10 of 2010. Congratulations to Peter and Patrick, and the rest of the SATAY gang!
