Awww. I hate to hear this. There are no bad kitties, just cats who have not had the opportunity to be socialized at an early age. Please don’t blame them. Life is very hard for cats. Let’s give them a break and maybe even take them into our homes and help them learn to trust? It’s a very rewarding project!
Marty, not to worry. The original poster was made in hopes of returning the big guy to his people, if he had any. The rest of the posters are in jest, and quite funny!
I *really* don’t like this “bad kitty meme”! I think that it’s unkind to cats, and that it could encourage disrespect, and even harm, towards cats. Please discontinue this “meme”!
123ABC, I was thinking the same thing. If so, that would confirm he’s been through the feral system (captured, neutered and released – for those not familiar with the clipped ear). My last cat was a feral cat who had been through the system, and he was one of the absolute best cats I’ve ever had the joy to share my home with!
Slightly off topic, though as the owner here in Wallingford of two ex-strays who still hear irrational kitty voices in their heads, I thought the memes were pretty funny. Last night (Sunday) I was awakened by plaintive cries outside that I thought was our cat. Went out and found a scared, dehydrated little mackeral tabby female with a black harness right at the entrance to the John Stanford school playground. Currently resting comfortably in isolation so as to not begin civil unrest among the other unstable feline factions. The found cat is very friendly and sociable. Haven’t had a chance to check for a chip. Anybody recognize?
Maybe post a pic and send it to Jordan for Wallyhood or Everyblock? We live close to Meridian Park and haven’t seen any posters for your little tabby. Maybe she lives close by within a 2 block radius? If you need help posting notices, I can help. We have a full house here w/three b&w tuxedos ourselves. Thanks so much for looking after her! Man, Wallingford cats are so naughty!
Forget to mention photo credit to Yani!

Bad people – hanging out in yards, walking around with attitude….

The original tabby looks to be eartipped.
