Wallyhood welcomes our newest sponsor, Wallingford’s Truly Helpful Collective (WTHC), located at 4423 Corliss Avenue North, between N. 44th and 45th streets. The marijuana dispensary offers medication in many different forms from edibles, drinks, topicals, and the usual flowers, to concentrates and safe extracts, and all of WTHC’s medication is grown locally by patients. In order for WTHC to serve someone, they must present their original, tamper-proof recommendation from a valid Washington State physician, and a valid Washington State ID.
WTHC has on-site, reserved parking for its patients and is handicap accessible. Hours of operation are Mon-Thur: 10amto 8pm; Friday -Saturday til 9 pm, and Sunday noon to 7. Phone number is 206 535 6085.
A big thanks to Wallingford’s Truly Helpful Collective for their support, along with our other fine sponsors:
Bedrooms and More: Another great example of why it pays to buy local: the people who own and run this store are local folks who want you to have a good night’s sleep and, while they’re at it, want to make the world a better place. Read our welcome message to get the feeling for who they are, then ask yourself: do I deserve a good night’s sleep?
Cooper Jacobs: Chances are, if you’re reading this, you already live in Wallingford. But maybe you rent and you yearn to own. Maybe you just need a different house. Want to talk to someone who specializes in Wallingford real estate? Find yourself a hidden gem.
King County Councilmember Larry Phillips: Councilmember Phillips has been a longtime representative of District 4 on the council, which covers most of Wallingford to 1st Avenue NE. He looks forward to getting to know folks better and learning more about your neighborhood concerns, particularly as they relate to county services like Metro Transit service, water quality, regional justice, and elections.

Scarecrow Video is not just one the best independent video stores in Seattle, it’s one of the best in the country. One commenter on our initial post welcoming them aboard called them the “Powell’s Books of Video”. High praise, indeed. And did you know they have 2-for-1 rentals every Wednesday? And now, Scarecrow Video has a coffee/tea bar in the store? Check it out!
