I currently have 2 cats that showed up at my back door. Bella (the tabby colored one) is sweet and would love a quiet, adult home. Sweetpea (the black Norweigan Forest cat) is very active. She loves to play and would love a home with a family and preferably other animals. I live in a very small place and having these two is giving my existing kitty anxiety. I do not want to turn them into a shelter. I would prefer the right person/family adopt them. Please email me at skempowered at hotmail dot com if a) one of these is your missing cat, or b) you would like to adopt one. Would need evidence they are going to a good home.
We’ll admit we’re a little perplexed by the details here (two separate stray cats at one backdoor seems an unusual coincidence; have you let them find their own way home?), but figured we’d publish in the hopes that the owner would recognize them and take ’em home.
call humane society
let them out
call animal control
this is wallyhood blog, not the official means goet lost animals to their homes and families
by publishing this in this way the real owners who called animal conmtrol and are waiting with pain to find their cats are left wihtout appropriate information
follow the law
wallyhood blog is not the law and not as well read as other blogs etc craigslist
Where To Take A Stray Animal

I hope she’s taken them to a vet to see if they’ve been chipped.
well you dont just ‘take in’ animals and put them on a neighbor website and offer them for adoption. This completely skips the legal and appropriate steps that people who tak ein ‘lost’ animals are presumed and expected to take.
These cats look well fed and well cared for. They do not appear to be feral or starving or neglected strays. i hope the person who took them in will take them to a vet to have them checked for microchips in order to find their true owners and will contact the above resources the owners may have contacted to find their pets.
probably people shouldn’t be letting their cat out loose outside in the first place. but that’s another (long) thread…
How old is Bella? I may be able to take her if you have taken her to see if she has a chip? Or someone is looking for her through the shelter?
O maybe interested in one. We live in wallyhood sunnyside between 45th and 50th. The grey Norweigan Forrest cat looks identical to mine!! I actually thought the cat WAS mine but I just saw him. I would love to check them out. Have three cats and a dog. All get along fabulously. I would also like to send a picture so you get an idea of how close they look alike! Where would I send that along with some personal info? ( address, phone number etc. ) let me know! Thanks,
EL
Please send me a note about Bella, [email protected]
How old is she?
Can I come see her?
Did you check with the vet or shelter if she is lost and has a chip?
There is a poster up for a lost cat on 39th & Bagley. I couldn’t tell but Bella may be that missing cat. It is worth at least checking out. I was driving by but will try and go out later to get the name and number.
If you haven’t been in touch with someone regarding the missing cat from 38th and Bagley. Please contact me ASAP. I’ll also try to get in touch with you obviously. I’m pretty sure (as sure as I can be by pictures that Bella is Theo).
Thanks

+1 on dave’s and Karla’s comments. Theodore’s family from this post: http://www.wallyhood.org/2011/09/missing-dog/
believe “Bella” might be Theodore, also the lost cat in the poster dave mentioned. Please contact me in the event that you are unable to reach Karla – we are both friends of Theodore’s owners who are away for another few days. One of us can assist with ID, if needed. You can reach me at kpetersondavis at hotmail.com or 206.714.2683
PS: I am still looking for our own lost cat, Sammy, and am convinced she’s locked away somewhere – unintentionally or not. It’s highly unusual that she hasn’t been spotted around QFC between 46th and 47th on Wallingford lately. Any tips welcome, as her 7-year-old owner is distraught: http://www.wallyhood.org/2012/02/missing-cat-sammy/
I have been out of town but desperately trying to get in touch with the poster, Suzanne, as I think that the Tabby is our missing cat from 38th & Bagley. Has anyone heard back from her or has anyone “adopted” this cat? He IS chipped and we would love to be able to identify if it is our Theodore? If you have any knowledge of where this woman lives or where we might ID the cat PLEASE, PLEASE let me know! [email protected]
