Located on the triangular section of N. 50th St, where Stone Way N. converges with Green Lake Way N., Interlake Child Care and Learning Center is an NAEYC accredited, non-profit 501 (c) organization that was founded in 1982. On the eve of its 30th birthday, Interlake is seeking a new, larger location, and they’ve turned to the public to ask for help. In addition to asking Interlake Child Care families and friends, they’re also wondering if residents and businesses in the area might know of any space available in Wallingford, Green Lake, or Fremont; as far north as 80th Street, as far south as N 34th Street; as far west as Phinney Ave. and as far east as Roosevelt. Here are some of the center’s criteria for new space:
* At least 4,000 square feet of indoor space
* At least 3,000 square feet of outdoor place space
* A kitchen
* At least 2 bathrooms
* Space for an office and break room for staff
* Parking
If you know of anything in the area that meets the above criteria, please contact Interlake Child Care and Learning Center Executive Director, Carol Goss: 206-632-6479
