Yogurtland Official Grand Opening
Saturday, 12/10 from 11:00am – 2:00pm. Yogurtland (2320 N. 45th St.) Yogurtland will celebrate its Grand Opening in Wallingford and to sweeten the deal, they’ll be giving away free gift cards to the first 50 people who show up. The store will also be giving away Yogurtland t-shirts and frozen yogurt from 11:00 am – 2:00pm while supplies last.
And while we’re on the subject of Yogurtland, I wanted to share this very sweet note one of our readers sent last week:
Hi there, I just had to pass along a rave for some wonderful Wallingford neighbors/Wallyhood readers. My three kids and a neighbor friend had some misinformation and excitedly headed over to Yogurtland last Saturday,12/3, for what they thought was going to be the Grand Opening celebration. Unfortunately, they were one week early.
A wonderful neighborhood couple (whom I am told are great frozen yogurt fans), witnessed the dissapointment as the kids realized their mistake. These kind and generous people insisted on buying Yogurtland for all four kids. The kids came home over-the-moon, bubbling over about this terrific experience. This act of kindness was a memorable example for them – thank you! The same afternoon, a different neighbor asked if the kids would help with a small job and offered to pay. The kids did the work but refused the money, without any parental nudging. I have to think that they were inspired by the generosity they received earlier in the day. Thanks Wallingford neighbors!
