We recently spoke with Patrick McCredie of Satay (1711 N. 45th St.) who filled us in on some neat stuff going on in the restaurant, above and beyond the awesome peanut sauce they serve.
If you’ve been to, or walked past Satay fairly recently, you probably noticed a cool mural-in-progress on the storefront. The muralist is Tom Blayney, so if you see him, stop by to take a look-see. Very cool.
Did you know Satay does trivia every Thursday? Yup, and they’ll be continuing Thursday trivia through the winter, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Entry is just $2.00 per person.
And check out this deal for wine lovers: Satay is running a $14.00/bottle special on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from open to close (11:30am – 9:00pm). You can choose a Chardonnay from Chateau St. Michel, Danzante Pinot Grigot, or Whistle Stop Red–a Cabernet Merlot from Snoqualmie Vineyards.
Oh, and one more thing: Satay is selling their very own t-shirts now in black with their yellow and red logo. They’re available for $18 in small, medium, large, and XL.
So, that means you can don your new Satay tee, split a bottle (or two) of wine with your friends, and play some trivia while chowing on their tasty Malaysian street food. What’s not to like?
